MPAA Phrases of the Week
I’m always amazed and amused by the phrases the MPAA comes up with to assign their ratings. Here are some of the more ridiculous items of the week:
- Strong zombie violence/gore – As opposed to that light zombie violence we’ve all heard so much about.
- Rude behavior – Just what exactly constitutes rude behavior? Farting? Belching in public?
- Incidental smoking – Thank goodness the actual plot of the film isn’t centered around smoking.
- Intense sequences of warfare – I’m thankful to hear that Robin Hood isn’t filled with casual warfare scenes. That would ruin it for me.
